The working session focused on reviewing the province’s industrial and trade development during the January-August period and outlined key tasks for the remaining months of the year.
Pushing exports to various markets such as Mexico, South America and Africa is one of the six strategic priorities set out by Minister Dien for the province.
He called for the urgent establishment of a provincial-level steering committee to resolve project bottlenecks, especially those involving large-scale capital investments currently on hold.
The minister outlined some key strategic tasks, including reviewing and adjusting provincial planning in line with ecological characteristics; removing obstacles facing energy and mineral projects and selecting only capable investors; promoting deep-processing industries; and developing local product branding, linking commerce with tourism, and fostering nighttime economic activities.
Besides, he hinted at strengthening local governance structures, improving human resources and infrastructure, and accelerating digital transformation.

During the working session, vice-chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Trong Yen, reported that the province is working to resolve hindrances in production and business, and accelerate major projects, especially in renewable energy and mineral sectors such as bauxite-alumina and titanium, for the rest of the year.
In addition, the province is supporting export-oriented enterprises, strengthening market surveillance and combating smuggling and commercial fraud, he said.
Representatives from several departments within the ministry suggested the province focus on the protection of the Da Lat agricultural brand.
They stressed that all products in circulation must have traceable origins, a requirement that will become mandatory by the end of the year and into 2026.
