In an advisory issued on Monday morning, the embassy said the security environment has deteriorated rapidly amid continued exchanges of fire between the two sides.

Tensions escalated overnight on Sunday after Iran launched missiles toward Israel, prompting Israeli retaliatory strikes on targets in Iran.

The embassy warned that the risk of further attacks involving missiles, drones, or other means remains elevated amid the volatile situation.

In such a situation, the Israel Home Front Command raised its alert level and placed the entire territory of Israel under a ‘restricted activity’ status from 10:00 pm on Sunday to 8:00 pm on Monday (local time), with the measure subject to further adjustment depending on developments.

Under the restrictions, all educational activities, including in-person and online learning, examinations, and extracurricular programs, have been suspended.

Public gatherings are restricted, while workplaces are permitted to operate only if employees have timely access to protected spaces.

Beaches have also been temporarily closed as part of safety measures.

The embassy noted that public transportation and Ben Gurion Airport, located near Tel Aviv, are still operating, though conditions may change rapidly depending on security developments.

Vietnamese citizens planning to travel, particularly by air, are advised to check the latest updates directly with airlines, transport providers, and relevant authorities before departure.

The embassy said it is closely monitoring developments and maintaining regular contact with the local Vietnamese community and host authorities.

So far, the embassy has not recorded any cases of Vietnamese citizens affected by the ongoing security situation.

It also urged citizens to closely follow alerts issued by the Israel Home Front Command, install and use its official warning app, immediately take shelter when sirens sound, avoid unnecessary movement, and stay away from high-risk areas.

It also called on the Vietnamese community to remain calm, avoid sharing unverified information, and take proactive measures to ensure the safety of themselves and their families.

For emergency consular assistance, Vietnamese citizens may contact the embassy’s hotlines at +972 50 878 3373 and +972 55 502 5616.
