Outstanding young role models share their stories at the ‘Together We Energize Vietnamese Youth to Rise Forward’ forum in Hanoi, October 23, 2026.

The 'Together We Energize Vietnamese Youth to Rise Forward' forum brought together government and youth organization representatives, business leaders, students, and outstanding young role models to share stories of perseverance, ambition, and community service.

An open discussion gave young people from different backgrounds a platform to share their experiences, from overcoming disabilities to pursuing careers and contributing to their communities.

They also discussed how businesses, social organizations, and communities could provide more opportunities and resources for young people.

The stories reflected four initiatives developed through the partnership: the Light of Vietnam Perseverance program, the Noble Youth awards, the Young Workers' Festival – Spreading Positive Energy, and the Community Sports Yards – Energizing Vietnamese Youth project.

Seven years of results

Launched in 2020, the Light of Vietnam Perseverance program has honored 287 outstanding young people with disabilities and supported 15 startup projects to help participants build sustainable livelihoods.

The Noble Youth awards have recognized 188 young people for contributions ranging from acts of courage and chivalry to community service.

Since 2023, the Young Workers' Festival – Spreading Positive Energy has reached 18 provinces and cities, attracting more than 150,000 participants.

The initiative is intended to improve the cultural and social lives of workers in industrial parks and export processing zones.

Through the festival, 51,500 young people have received health check-ups, health counseling, and gifts.

Organizers have also set up 360 free and discounted booths and distributed more than 1,000 gift packages.

The Community Sports Yards project, launched in 2024, is scheduled to complete all 22 sports facilities in 2026.

Together, the initiatives have generated more than 70 million social media impressions and involved nearly 100 organizations and partners, according to the organizers.

Nguyen Kim Quy, secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and president of the Vietnam Youth Federation, said the partnership had helped support young workers and people with disabilities, recognize good deeds, and create more opportunities for physical activity.

He said the programs aimed not only to provide assistance but also to give young people the confidence and motivation to move forward independently.

A new chapter

Both organizations were founded in 1956. The Vietnam Youth Federation celebrated its 70th anniversary on October 15, while TCP Group is also celebrating seven decades of operations this year.

In May, the two sides signed a cooperation agreement for 2026-28, committing to continued support for young workers, disadvantaged youth, and people with disabilities, as well as initiatives to recognize positive role models and expand community sports facilities.

For TCP, the partnership is part of its long-term commitment to Vietnam, one of its strategic markets.

Saravoot Yoovidhya, CEO of TCP Group, said the company's 70th anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on its achievements and consider how it could create lasting value.

"Vietnam's greatest source of energy is its people – above all, its young generation, full of perseverance and aspiration," Saravoot said, adding that the company plans to continue investing in Vietnam and creating lasting value alongside young people.

The forum concluded with both organizations reaffirming their commitment to expanding opportunities for young people to develop their abilities, pursue their aspirations, and contribute to their communities.
