The concerts are part of the BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR <XX: COSMOS>, marking the group's 20th anniversary and its first joint world tour featuring G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung in nine years.

Huge demand for tickets was evident during the membership presale on Thursday and the VPBank Mastercard presale on Friday, which drew nearly 120,000 people to the online queue.

The excitement of securing tickets quickly spread across social media, with many V-V.I.Ps sharing their success stories online.

“Diamond 8 for Day 2 of the BIGBANG WORLD TOUR! I actually got a Diamond 8 seat right in front of the stage. Oh my God, I think I might cry at the concert,” a fan wrote on social media.

For many Vietnamese V.I.Ps, BigBang’s official fan community, the concerts scheduled for October 24 and 25 carry special significance as they coincide with the group's 20th anniversary and reunite members on a world tour after nearly a decade.

Beyond securing tickets, fans have also launched online campaigns encouraging others to attend the shows and help fill the 40,000-seat My Dinh National Stadium.

A fan on Threads wrote: "We're the kind of fans who want nothing more than to see a stadium with not a single empty seat welcoming our idols. We've done it before, but there are still two days to go. I already have my ticket, so now I'm just hoping Vietnam can sell it out."

Sharing a similar sentiment, another fan posted: “I've got my ticket already. Now I just hope both nights sell out. V-V.I.Ps, let's turn My Dinh into a sea of yellow so BigBang can see how much Vietnamese fans have waited for and loved them.”

Such messages reflect the hopes of many Vietnamese V.I.Ps, who want to welcome BigBang with a packed My Dinh Stadium illuminated by thousands of yellow lightsticks and filled with fanchants loud enough for the three members to feel the passion and support of their Vietnamese fans.

The fan-driven campaign has gained momentum amid uncertainty over when BigBang may next return to Vietnam for a concert of similar scale.

BigBang may continue touring in the future, but a concert marking the group's 20th anniversary is a once-in-a-lifetime event.

After waiting nine years for the members to reunite on a world tour, fans say there is no telling when G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung will next bring a production of this scale to Vietnam.

The next ticket sale phase, open to the general public, is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am on August 17 through ticketing platform CTicket.

Following strong demand during the presale rounds, fans are expected to face intense competition when the remaining tickets become available.
