According to a business registration update filed on Friday, VinEnergo officially raised its charter capital from VND28.335 trillion ($1.08 billion) to VND79.923 trillion ($3 billion), marking a 2.8-fold increase.

Its new capital level exceeds Vingroup’s charter capital of VND77.334 trillion ($2.9 billion) recorded on December 31, 2025.

Since VinEnergo was officially established in March last year, its charter capital has increased 40-fold from the initial VND2 trillion ($76.3 million).

Its disclosures show that 44.6 percent of the newly-registered capital was contributed in cash, while the remaining 55.4 percent came from other assets.

Nguyen Anh Khoa, 37, currently serves as chief executive officer and legal representative of VinEnergo.

VinEnergo, headquartered at Symphony Office Building in the Vinhomes Riverside urban area in Hanoi, specializes in electricity generation.

On its official website, VinEnergo describes itself as a member company of Vingroup, established with the mission of pioneering smart and sustainable energy solutions.

The company focuses on developing clean energy solutions, optimizing operational efficiency, and promoting green transformation across the broader Vingroup ecosystem.
