Son, from the Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Intervention – Respiratory Department under the hospital’s Cardiovascular and Thoracic Center, presented a study on a technique for revascularizing the left subclavian artery in the treatment of thoracic aortic diseases in zone 2 — a new approach to treating complex cardiovascular conditions.
His research proposes an innovative approach to managing complex cardiovascular conditions.
This achievement highlights not only Son’s strong research capability and innovative thinking, but also the growing presence of Vietnam’s medical community on regional scientific platforms.
AFCC is one of Southeast Asia’s most prestigious cardiology conferences, gathering thousands of cardiovascular specialists from across the region and beyond.
The YIA competition serves as a key academic event within the congress, encouraging young doctors and researchers to engage in meaningful scientific work.
By fostering new ideas and clinical-scientific approaches to cardiology, the YIA helps nurture emerging talent and strengthens the foundation of a more advanced and collaborative cardiovascular community in Southeast Asia.
