Owners of hotels, homestays and lodging facilities in Mang Den on Saturday told Tuoi Tre (Youth) Newspaper that they had been fully booked, with many visitors still trying to make reservations but having to give up.

The 2025 National Day holiday runs from Saturday, August 30, to Tuesday, September 2, combining the two official days off for National Day with the weekend, giving people a four-day break.

Le Nguyen, owner of Nha Le Homestay, said his booking system was already full for August 30 and 31.

For September 1 and 2, room occupancy had reached around 90 percent and reservations were still rising.

“Not only my place but many other lodging facilities are also fully booked for the September 2 holiday,” Nguyen said.

Dong The Danh, deputy head of the culture and society office of Mang Den Commune, said the locality is organizing the Mang Den Food Market Fair during the holiday to showcase local specialties and cultural products to visitors.

Art performances at the market fair and Mang Den night street, featuring gong artisan troupes, will add to the festive atmosphere.

Currently, Mang Den has seven recognized tourist sites and 143 lodging facilities with more than 1,200 rooms, offering a capacity of around 6,000 visitors per day and night.

The commune is expected to welcome about 1.56 million visitors in 2025.
