As of Monday morning, there had been no reports of injuries or fatalities among Vietnamese nationals in Israel amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, the Vietnam News Agency reported, citing the embassy.

Between Sunday night and the early hours of Monday, Iran launched three missiles targeting cities in northern and central Israel in response to Israel’s earlier military actions, resulting in at least four deaths and over 92 injured.

In Bat Yam, a coastal city near Israel’s capital Tel Aviv with a significant Vietnamese population, the blast waves from the missile strikes caused damage to properties.

However, a representative from the embassy confirmed that there were no casualties reported among the Vietnamese community.

The embassy is actively monitoring the situation and maintaining regular communication with Vietnamese citizens, while confirming its commitment to implementing essential emergency support measures to safeguard the safety and rights of Vietnamese nationals, the representative added.

Besides, the embassy has activated an emergency communication channel with the Vietnamese community and collaborated with various associations to assess the situation and provide timely assistance if needed.

It also advises Vietnamese citizens to remain calm, minimize non-essential travel, avoid hazardous areas, stay informed through official channels, and maintain contact with the embassy.

In case of emergencies or for information regarding citizen protection plans, Vietnamese citizens can reach out to the embassy's hotlines: +972-55-502-5616, +972-52-727-4248, and +972-50-878-3373.
