Vietnamese couture shines at Cannes 2026

Fuster, a well-known television host and model in her native Peru, has participated in several reality television programs.

She gained international recognition after winning the Miss Grand International 2023 title, held in Vietnam.

According to Nguyen Minh Tuan, the gown worn by the beauty queen, titled Noctis Tear, was inspired by the image of an aurora melting into a silent night sky.

“The design features a fitted black corset silhouette embellished with sparkling crystals resembling a star-filled night sky,” the designer said.

“The hips are accented with soft feather clusters inspired by icy clouds breaking apart in winter skies, while the skirt is layered with cascading patterns resembling tears of light slowly falling to the ground.”

“The contrast between deep black tones and luminous silver-white effects creates a feeling that is both cold and elegant,” he said.

Fuster previously wore another Nguyen Minh Tuan creation during her final walk at the Miss Grand International 2024 grand finale in Thailand, where she crowned her successor.

That design featured white and silver tones, a mermaid silhouette, and a thigh-high slit, highlighted by a three-dimensional shoulder structure and a voluminous skirt adorned with thousands of Swarovski stones and crystals over sequin fabric.

Several international stars have previously worn Nguyen Minh Tuan’s designs at the Cannes Film Festival, including actress Caylee Cowan at Cannes 2023, Miss Earth Malaysia 2021 Nisha Thayananthan at Cannes 2024, model Madhulika Jagdale at Cannes 2025, and UMB Ms India 2025 second runner-up Shweta Chopra at Cannes 2026.
