In a notice issued on Monday, the Embassy of Vietnam in Israel said recent days had seen multiple waves of rocket warnings across the country, with some attacks targeting key industrial sites.
It cited strikes on the Ne’ot Hovav chemical industrial zone and the Bazan oil refinery complex in Haifa, warning of potential risks of hazardous material leaks that could affect the environment and public safety.
Israel’s Home Front Command has said it will maintain civil defense measures from Monday to April 4, including suspending in-person education, limiting public gatherings to 50 people where shelters are available, and restricting workplace operations to facilities that meet safety requirements. Beaches also remain closed.
The embassy advised Vietnamese nationals to monitor instructions from local authorities, identify nearby shelters, and avoid sensitive locations such as chemical plants, industrial zones, airports, seaports, and critical infrastructure.
It also urged people near incident areas to stay indoors, limit movement, close doors and windows, and follow official instructions, warning against approaching or filming sites that have been attacked.
The embassy said the Vietnamese community in Israel has remained safe so far, more than a month after the conflict involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran escalated, with repeated missile alerts reported across the country.
The conflict intensified on February 28 when U.S. and Israeli forces launched large-scale strikes on Iran, prompting retaliatory missile and drone attacks by Tehran that have continued across the Middle East region.
