The data, based on searches made during this period for stays in October and November 2025, shows five Vietnamese localities topping the list.
Leading the most-searched destinations is Phu Quoc Special Zone, an island off southern An Giang Province, which saw searches jump 113 percent year on year.
The island has also seen a steady rise in Russian tourist arrivals with nearly 52,000 visitors in the first nine months of 2025, according to the An Giang Department of Tourism.
Local businesses expect this number to climb further toward the end of the year, particularly after the resumption of direct flights from Russia, which recently brought 220 travelers to the island for leisure and relaxation.
Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City followed, ranking second and third, with search growth of 77 percent and 56 percent, respectively.
Rounding out the top five are the coastal cities of Da Nang and Nha Trang, which recorded increases of 36 percent and 35 percent.
Agoda’s data shows continued strong interest from Eastern European markets after Vietnam introduced a visa exemption policy on August 15, 2025 for citizens of 12 European countries.
Specifically, searches from Slovenia rose 77 percent, followed by Poland (74 percent), Bulgaria (72 percent), Romania (69 percent), and Slovakia (61 percent).
Vu Ngoc Lam, Agoda’s Vietnam country director, said that simplified entry procedures and improved accessibility have contributed significantly to the rise in European and other long-haul travelers visiting Vietnam.
According to the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, the number of European visitors increased nearly 35 percent in the first nine months of this year.
In the third quarter alone, Vietnam welcomed 568,370 European tourists, marking a 38-percent rise from the previous quarter and a 60-percent jump year on year.
“The expanded visa waiver policy has made Vietnam more accessible and attractive to European travelers,” Lam remarked.
