Vietnamese museums among 25 most popular in Asia

Three Vietnamese museums have made it to Asia’s 25 most popular this year, according to votes by users of travel website TripAdvisor.

War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and Vietnam Women's Museum in Hanoi ranked fifth, sixth and 11^th, respectively,on the list of TripAdivsor’s Travellers' Choice Attractions.

Chinese, Japanese, and Cambodian museums topped the list while institutions in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Republic of Korea stood one to three notches below the last Vietnamese museum.

Travelers' Choice Attractions were chosen based on reviews and opinions from TripAdvisor travelers who come from around the world.

In this inaugural selection TripAdvisor honored 1,263 of the world's top landmarks, parks, museums and amusement and water parks in 39 countries from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
