Vietnamese singer Toc Tien to compete at Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026

The event is the Asian edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, the long-running music competition marking its 70th anniversary this year.

This year’s competition will feature representatives from 10 countries, including Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, Bhutan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Nepal, Laos, Cambodia and Bangladesh.

The expansion into Asia aims to create a platform that reflects the region’s diverse identities and creative energy, said Martin Green, director of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Meanwhile, a representative from Voxovation, which is responsible for developing the Asian version of the Song Contest, expects the contest to attract millions of Asian viewers.

Social media platform ZOOP has been selected as the competition’s exclusive partner, enabling audiences to vote, connect directly with artists and follow the contestants’ journey in real time.

Since making her mark on The Remix in 2015, Toc Tien has established herself as one of V-pop’s versatile performers.

She has a string of hit songs.

The singer has also cemented her profile through numerous television programs and artistic projects such as Chi dep dap gio 2024 (Sisters Who Make Waves Vietnam 2024).

Throughout her journey on the show, she demonstrated a strong sense of stage direction, sharp choreography and a confident performance style, while showcasing her powerful vocals and constantly reinventing her image.

With extensive performance experience and a modern musical identity, Toc Tien is expected to deliver energetic performances as Vietnam’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026.
