The festival is scheduled to take place on November 7 and 8 at Phan Dinh Phung Park in Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, under the theme ‘Green Transition - Sustainable Efficiency.’

Tuoi Tre (Youth) online newspaper on Thursday held a meeting with participating businesses to discuss preparations for the event and provide an overview of the products, initiatives, and interactive activities they plan to present to visitors.

Exhibitors gear up to showcase green products, initiatives

Supermarket chain Annam Gourmet would bring a selection of ice cream and croissants to the festival, said Le Phan Phuong Anh, a representative of the chain.

“These products are made using solar energy throughout the processing and production stages,” she said.

To encourage visitor engagement, Annam Gourmet also plans to organize a series of mini-games over the two-day event.

Visitors can answer questions, take part in games, and win gifts in accordance with the program’s rules.

The booth will also offer a special gift each day to visitors who stop by and participate in the activities.

Meanwhile, meat producer C.P. Vietnam intends to introduce its sustainable development initiatives, green transition solutions, and innovations in manufacturing and business operations, with a focus on building a sustainable agricultural and food value chain.

Through publications, photographs, videos, and interactive activities, the company hopes to raise environmental awareness and encourage visitors to adopt greener lifestyles, a C.P. Vietnam representative said.

Speaking at the meeting, Le Cao Cuong, deputy editor-in-chief of Tuoi Tre, said this year’s festival aims to bring eco-friendly products and solutions closer to the public.

The event is expected to give visitors opportunities to experience and learn about a wider range of green products and solutions, including options suited to their everyday household needs.

Through these direct experiences, green consumption can move beyond awareness and gradually become part of people’s daily routines, he said.

Cuong also encouraged exhibitors to prepare their booth content and activities in ways that are accessible, engaging, and interactive.

“Products, technologies, and solutions on display should clearly demonstrate their practical value,” he said.

“This is also an opportunity for businesses to share concrete approaches to resource conservation and green transition with consumers.”

Visitors can exchange recyclables for gifts

During the festival, exhibition booths will be open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm on both November 7 and 8, showcasing green products from brands across various sectors.

In addition to the exhibition area, the organizers have arranged a series of interactive stations where visitors can gain environmental knowledge, take part in hands-on activities, and explore ways to incorporate sustainable practices into their daily lives.

At the waste-sorting quiz station, participants will be presented with questions and practical scenarios to help them identify different types of waste and understand the role individuals can play in reducing waste.

Another highlight is the recycling exchange station, where visitors can bring recyclable materials to designated collection points at the festival.

The activity is meant to encourage waste sorting at source and ensure that recyclable materials are returned to the recycling loop rather than discarded with ordinary household waste.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to vote for the most impressive green experience space and share photographs and personal experiences from the festival on social media.

These activities are designed to make environmental protection messages more accessible and engaging, while spreading the spirit of green living to a wider community, according to the organizers.

Also, the festival will feature a competition titled ‘Water Conservation - Nurturing the Future,’ scheduled for November 7, followed by a music night that evening.

Bao Ngoc, Miss Intercontinental 2022, is expected to meet and interact with audiences, particularly young people, to promote environmental protection and raise awareness of the importance of sustainable living.

Alongside the on-site activities, a Mega Live program on TikTok will showcase green products, providing businesses with an additional livestreaming channel to connect with consumers and introduce eco-friendly options.
