VIC rose six percent on Thursday, marking its fifth consecutive session of significant gains.

Over the past month, the stock has skyrocketed nearly 42 percent. VIC has surged 90 percent since the beginning of the year.

According to Forbes' update on Thursday afternoon, Vuong's net worth reached $9.1 billion, an increase of $400 million in just one day.

This figure places the Vingroup chairman at the 327th position among the world's richest people, up 13 places from the previous day.

Vuong's wealth even surpassed that of Jay Y. Lee, chairman of South Korea's Samsung, who holds assets worth $8.6 billion, according to Forbes data.

VIC's performance has been positively influenced by the announcement that Vinpearl (VPL), a Vingroup subsidiary, has finalized its listing date.

According to the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE), VPL's reference price on its first trading day is VND71,300 ($2.7) per share.

With 1.8 billion outstanding shares, Vinpearl is valued at nearly VND130 trillion (some $5 billion), placing it among the top 15 companies by market capitalization on HoSE.

VPL has become the fourth company in Pham Nhat Vuong's ecosystem to list on HoSE, alongside Vingroup (VIC), Vincom Retail (VRE), and Vinhomes (VHM).

As of Wednesday, the total market capitalization of these four companies was estimated at VND736.478 trillion ($28.4 billion).

Following the news of Vinpearl's listing, Vuong's assets increased nearly $440 million to reach $8.7 billion on Wednesday.
