Ali Azaizeh of Jordan and Leonardo Farah Shahin of Lebanon lead the scoring chart with four goals each, but both teams were eliminated earlier in the tournament and the players cannot add to their totals.
Dinh Bac is level on three goals with Japan's Shusuke Furuya and Ryunosuke Sato, making the trio the highest scorers still active in the competition.

Several players have scored two goals, including Australia's Mathias Macallister, Iraq's Amoori Faisal, Japan's Yuto Ozeki, Saudi Arabia's Rakan Al-Ghamdi, and the United Arab Emirates' Ali Al-Memari and Junior Ndiaye.
Only Macallister and Ozeki remain in the tournament.
Vietnam last featured prominently in the top scorer race at the AFC U23 Asian Cup in 2018, when Nguyen Quang Hai scored five goals but finished second behind Qatar's Almoez Ali, who netted six.
