In early June, despite the intense heat at the campus of the Vietnam National University in Hanoi’s Thach That District, officers stood in a focused and disciplined manner.

According to rookie Quach Cong Hau from Soc Trang Province in the Mekong Delta, participating in the upcoming military parade in Hanoi on September 2 will be an unforgettable experience.
Though Hau is training far from home in the harsh northern climate, he embraces the challenges with a smile of pride.
The officers are now in the final phase of basic training—a crucial foundation before advancing to higher-level drills, joint-unit rehearsals, and the national-level parade rehearsal.

Major Le Tuan Vu, head of the training team for male officers specializing in technical operations and cybercrime prevention, oversees a unit of 188 trainees.
Having led multiple parade training programs in the past, Major Vu said the pressure is more intense this year due to the historical significance of the 80th anniversary.
Captain Dau Thanh Bac, a trainer from the Mobile Police Command, shared that daily training begins at 7:00 am and ends at 5:30 pm.

During the extreme heat, sessions are rescheduled to 6:30 am to take advantage of more comfortable weather conditions in the mornings.
He also praised the resilience of female special police officers who undergo training diligently despite the sweltering heat.
“The harsh conditions only strengthen their determination. They truly are steel flowers,” Captain Bac remarked.
