The FPT education complex spans over 8.6 hectares and incorporates programs in STEM, artificial intelligence (AI), and robotics.
The facility aims to contribute to Hue’s strategy of building a high-quality workforce and becoming a regional hub for education, innovation, and digital transformation.
Nguyen Thanh Binh, vice-chairman of the Hue People’s Committee, said the opening underscores the city’s determination to become a leading education center in central Vietnam.
“Integrating digital technology into training from the elementary level is a step aligned with global trends, creating an innovative learning environment and diversifying choices for students,” he said.
FPT chairman Truong Gia Binh emphasized the importance of nurturing global citizens capable of leading in AI and innovation.
“We are determined to bring AI, robotics, STEM, and foreign languages into the curriculum from grade 1,” the FPT chairman added.
The complex, inspired by the golden apricot blossom, a cultural symbol of Hue, combines traditional and modern architectural elements.
Following the inauguration, more than 300 students officially began the 2025-26 academic year in the new facility.
This is FPT’s ninth education facility in the Central Highlands and central Vietnam, expected to become a milestone in Hue’s education strategy, coinciding with celebrations of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
