The appointment, which took effect on May 23, is intended to support the company's global expansion requirements in its next phase of development.

Anh currently serves as vice-chairman and standing deputy general director of VinFast Trading and Production JSC.

The company said he has extensive management experience across multiple sectors and has played an important role in VinFast’s development, from building its domestic foundation to expanding its presence in international markets.

Meanwhile, former chairwoman Thuy stepped down from both the chair position and the board of directors to focus on key objectives at Vingroup, VinFast’s major shareholder, where she serves as vice-chairwoman.

Following his appointment, Anh said he looked forward to working with the leadership team to guide VinFast into a new stage of development.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Singapore Management University.

He previously served as deputy general director and deputy chief operating officer of Vinpearl from 2017 to 2019, where he gained extensive experience in operations management, system development, and strategic planning.

Since joining VinFast in February 2019, he has held several key leadership positions across vehicle development, manufacturing, business operations, and after-sales service.
