Green production anchored in ESG 4 Plus
Sompob Witworrasakul, CEO of Vina Kraft, said that as the concept of ‘green consumption’ becomes increasingly familiar to consumers, the key question for businesses is no longer whether they should change, but how to change in ways that create tangible impact.
Guided by the ESG 4 Plus strategy of SCG Group, Vina Kraft has progressively reshaped its production model to be greener and more circular.
With net zero as a long-term goal, the firm has continuously promoted emissions-reduction initiatives by improving energy efficiency and applying advanced technologies.
Renewable energy plays a growing role in Vina Kraft’s operations, with increased use of biomass, biogas and solar power.
Besides, sustainable practices have been integrated across the entire value chain to gradually cut greenhouse gas emissions, including Scope 3 emissions.
From researching the production of refuse-derived fuel (RDF) from industrial waste to developing packaging solutions that can be recycled, reused or biodegraded, the company is extending resource life cycles and easing pressure on the environment.
Crucially, Vina Kraft has not pursued this transition alone.
It has actively partnered with stakeholders at multiple levels to promote the collection and recycling of post-consumer packaging.
These efforts have positioned the firm among the first recycling-qualified enterprises eligible to implement Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
In parallel, FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certifications reaffirm its commitment to using raw materials sourced sustainably, transparently and in line with international standards.

Also, human capital remains central to Vina Kraft’s long-term development strategy.
With the ambition of building a ‘Zero Injury and Illness’ organization, the firm strictly applies the SCG Safety Framework across all production activities, continuously raising occupational safety and health standards for employees.
The firm has secured a group-level silver safety award for ‘Dedication and Collaboration Toward Safety Goals,’ reflecting its resolve to place employee health and safety above all else.
In addition, Vina Kraft actively contributes to the community through meaningful initiatives, such as waste-sorting guidance programs at Hoa Loi Elementary School, helping to instill environmental awareness in younger generations.
From a governance perspective, transparency and sustainability form the foundation of Vina Kraft’s long-term growth.
Carbon Footprint labels affixed to its products disclose scientifically calculated and verified carbon dioxide emissions.
Meanwhile, the integration of IoT technology enables real-time production management, operational optimization and risk reduction.
These measures not only enhance environmental transparency but also reinforce the company’s commitment to sustainable development.
They further support customers and partners in reducing emissions across the value chain, laying a solid foundation for carbon offset initiatives or participation in carbon credit markets.

Recognition from CSI 2025
Vina Kraft’s efforts were acknowledged at the 2025 CSI program, where the enterprise was named among the Top 10 Sustainable Companies in the manufacturing sector 2025.
During the 10-year journey of the CSI program, Vina Kraft’s five consecutive appearances in the Top 100 list represent more than a record of achievement.
They stand as clear evidence of the firm’s internal strength in sustainable development.
More importantly, this recognition highlights Vina Kraft’s capacity for innovation and production model transformation at a time when the packaging industry faces mounting pressure from the global shift toward green consumption.
Looking ahead, Vina Kraft will continue to accelerate technological innovation, optimize its production model and develop eco-friendly packaging solutions.
