The January figure also marked the market debut of two new models, the Minio Green and the EC Van.
The automaker, founded by billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, handed over 1,237 Minio Green cars and 865 EC Van units during the month, expanding its lineup for both personal and commercial use.
Core models continued to anchor sales.
The seven-seat MPV Limo Green led the lineup with 3,868 units, followed by the VF 3 at 3,185 units, the VF 5 at 2,737 units, the VF 6 at 2,485 units and the VF 7 at 975 units. The VF 8 and VF 9 also recorded steady demand.
A VinFast representative said the January performance supported VinFast’s 2026 growth targets.
The company expects a broader product portfolio, improved after-sales services and the ongoing shift toward green mobility to further support domestic demand for electric vehicles.
To boost demand, VinFast has rolled out several promotional programs this year.
Under the firm’s ‘Boundless Drive for a Green Future’ campaign, buyers can purchase vehicles through installment plans with zero down payment, along with price reductions of six percent to 10 percent depending on the model.
Buyers who take delivery from February 10 are eligible for up to 10 free charging sessions per month at V-Green charging stations through February 10, 2029.
Those who took delivery earlier qualify for complimentary charging for up to three years from the handover date.
VinFast is offering warranties of up to 10 years across its electric vehicle lineup.
The company said its nationwide network includes more than 400 service workshops and over 150,000 charging ports.
