This also marks the 11th consecutive month that VinFast has held the position of the best-selling car brand in Vietnam.

According to sales reports, in September, VinFast delivered 13,914 electric vehicles, bringing the cumulative total since the beginning of the year to 103,884 units — an unprecedented figure in Vietnam's automotive history.

Leading the sales chart is the VF 3, dubbed the 'national electric car,' with 31,386 units sold in the nine months.

It is followed by the VF 5 with 30,956 units, including 8,604 units of the VF 5 Herio Green variant for transport services; the VF 6 with 14,425 units; the VF 7 with 5,877 units; and the Limo Green MPV with 2,120 units.

A VinFast representative stated that with its two factories in Hai Phong City, northern Vietnam and Ha Tinh Province, located in the north-central region, the company aims to continue setting new records in the fourth quarter — the peak period of the year.

Duong Thi Thu Trang, global deputy CEO of sales and marketing at VinFast, shared that behind the 100,000-unit figure is the support and trust of millions of customers.

The company is committed to continuously delivering greater value to Vietnamese consumers while contributing significantly to the country’s green transformation efforts.

Experts noted that VinFast surpassing all foreign internal combustion and electric vehicle brands for 11 consecutive months signals a dramatic shift in Vietnam’s auto industry, from a latecomer to a trendsetter.

VinFast’s 100,000-vehicle milestone is not only a business achievement but also a key indicator that electric vehicles are becoming the mainstream choice for Vietnamese consumers.
