The cool, crisp air adds a romantic touch to every step taken at fruit-laden persimmon gardens.

The persimmon season in Da Lat is nearing its end as the sun grows brighter and the chill more insistent.

Yet this is precisely when the orchards are at their most breathtaking, with crimson persimmons and the leaves turning yellow and red.

Visitors have been sharing photos online with playful captions, calling the persimmon gardens a place “where anyone who steps inside becomes graceful.”

During the late persimmon season, the rains have eased, giving way to sunlight and cold – arguably Da Lat’s most beautiful time of year.

A simple walk into a persimmon garden feels almost like stepping into a different version of oneself.

Soft morning light, a gentle breeze, the earthy scent of damp leaves, and the warm hues of ripe fruit seem to quiet the face and soften the eyes.

While Da Lat is never short of photogenic locations, its persimmon gardens offer something unique.

Persimmon trees are grown abundantly along the hillsides.

At the end of the season, each branch bends under the weight of glowing fruit swaying in the wind like tiny lanterns, captivating anyone who passes through.

Garden owners are typically welcoming, happy for visitors to take photos and buy home persimmons.

Many orchards are treating visitors to hands-on experiences such as fruit picking and traditional wind-drying of persimmons.
