What to expect from 1st Miss Charm Vietnam pageant?

Reigning Miss Charm Anna Blanco and a representative of the organizing committee have presented sashes to the 23 contestants competing in the inaugural Miss Charm Vietnam 2026 pageant in Ho Chi Minh City.

Fashion designer Le Huu Nhan, national director of Miss Charm Vietnam 2026, said the contestants this year were relatively evenly matched in quality, with each bringing her own strengths and distinctive personality.

Notable contestants include a bilingual master of ceremonies who studied in the United States, a TikToker with more than 1.2 million followers, and a contestant of Vietnamese and Turkish heritage.

The organizers are focusing on contestants' physiques, presentation and communication skills, critical thinking and individual identity.

Nguyen Ngoc Tra My is among the contestants attracting attention for her experience as a bilingual emcee and her studies in the United States. She has strong stage presence and communication skills.

La Hoang Ky Duyen is known as a TikToker with more than 1.2 million followers. Nguyen Khanh Linh, commonly known as Linh Kul, is a content creator.

Another contestant standing out is Hatice Yavuz, who has Vietnamese and Turkish heritage and is fluent in four languages.

The pageant also features sisters Bui Thu Uyen and Bui Thu Thuy, adding a distinctive element to this year's competition.

The contestants' diverse careers, educational backgrounds and social media activities reflect their individual strengths. They also know how to build personal brands and engage communities.

Beauty queens join Miss Charm Vietnam 2026

Alongside newcomers, Miss Charm Vietnam 2026 features contestants with experience in beauty pageants.

Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc was the second runner-up at Miss Celebrity Vietnam 2025. Le Tran Anh Thu was the second runner-up at Miss Heritage Culture Vietnam 2026.

Ha Le Quynh Nga was the first runner-up at the tourism and culture ambassador contest of Dong Nai in 2024 and made the top 30 at Miss Grand Vietnam 2026.

Ly Thi Diem Trinh reached the top eight at Miss Global Vietnam 2024. Nguyen Tuyet Nhi was crowned Miss LAW Hutech 2023 and was the first runner-up at Hutech Acting Star 2024. Tra Ngoc Phuong Thanh made the top 18 at The TVFace 2026.

Following the sash presentation ceremony, the contestants will take part in experiential activities, community projects and subsidiary competitions, including Charm Heritage, Charm Fashion and Charm Community, in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai.

The Miss Charm Vietnam 2026 grand finale is scheduled for October 22 evening in Dong Nai. The winner will represent Vietnam at the fourth edition of Miss Charm, which is set to take place in Vietnam at the end of this year.

Miss Charm is an international beauty pageant initiated by Vietnam.

In its inaugural edition, Luma Russo of Brazil won the crown. In the second edition, Rashmita Rasindran of Malaysia was crowned Miss Charm 2024. In the third edition, Anna Blanco of Venezuela won the Miss Charm 2025 title.

Vietnam has sent three representatives to Miss Charm over the years: Thanh Thanh Huyen, Quynh Nga and Mai Ngo.

Mai Ngo finished in the top 12 at Miss Charm 2025. Quynh Nga previously won second runner-up at Miss Charm 2024.

In 2023, Thanh Thanh Huyen reached the top 20.
