Where to watch Reunification Day parade on LED screens in Ho Chi Minh City?

To mark the 50th anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam and Reunification Day on April 30, Ho Chi Minh City is preparing for a large-scale military parade and march on the day, while installing 21 LED screens throughout the city center to allow the public to follow the event.

Live viewing areas include Le Duan Boulevard and the area surrounding the Reunification Palace in downtown Ho Chi Minh City.

To accommodate those unable to secure a live spot, 21 LED screens are being strategically placed in District 1 and nearby areas.

These locations include:

- 2 Nguyen Trai Street – near Phu Dong Roundabout
- Two locations opposite Ben Thanh Market
- Pasteur – Vo Thi Sau Intersection
- Khanh Hoi Bridge
- Sunwah Tower at 115 Nguyen Hue Street
- 44 Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street
- 52 Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street
- Nguyen Kim Shopping Center at 63-65-67 Tran Hung Dao Street
- 25-27 Ton Duc Thang Street
- 121 Nguyen Binh Khiem Street
- 1 Pham Viet Chanh, Nguyen Cu Trinh Ward
- 120-122 Le Loi Street, Ben Thanh Ward
- 78 Le Lai Street, Ben Thanh Ward
- 11-11Bis Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street
- 11-11A Pham Ngoc Thach Street

The grand parade will begin at 6:30 am at the intersection of Le Duan Boulevard and Nguyen Binh Khiem Street.

After moving past the Reunification Hall, the participants in the military parade and march will disperse along four prearranged routes:

Route 1: Via Nam Ky Khoi Nghia – Le Loi – Nguyen Thi Nghia – Phu Dong Roundabout – Cach Mang Thang Tam, concluding at Tao Dan Park.

Route 2: Via Nam Ky Khoi Nghia – Le Thanh Ton – Nguyen Hue – Me Linh Roundabout, concluding at Bach Dang Wharf.

Route 3: Via Le Duan – Nam Ky Khoi Nghia – Nguyen Dinh Chieu – Dinh Tien Hoang, ending at Hoa Lu Stadium.

Route 4: Via Nam Ky Khoi Nghia – Hai Ba Trung, ending at Le Van Tam Park.

Residents are advised to avoid the restricted zones, which include major downtown streets such as Le Duan, Nguyen Van Chiem, Le Quy Don, Huyen Tran Cong Chua, Le Van Huu, Han Thuyen, Alexandre De Rhodes, Cong Xa Paris (Paris Roundabout), Dang Tran Con, Thu Khoa Huan, Nguyen Trung Truc, and Dong Khoi.

Access will only be granted to security forces, event staff, and authorized personnel.
