Vietnam’s Dak Lak reports another death due to Whitmore’s disease

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) in Dak Lak Province, Vietnam on Friday confirmed a third death this year caused by Burkholderia pseudomallei, the bacterium that triggers the dangerous Whitmore’s disease.
