Mountainous and midland provinces could receive 50-120mm of rain, with some areas exceeding 250mm.
Elsewhere in the north, rainfall may reach 30-80mm, and isolated locations could see more than 150mm.
Localized downpours may bring over 100mm of rain in just three hours.
In response, the ministry has urged provinces and cities across the north to prepare for flooding, landslides, and other disasters.
Authorities have been asked to mobilize resources to repair damage from recent floods, monitor updated weather forecasts, and provide timely information to local communities.
Rapid response teams have been told to check vulnerable residential areas near rivers, streams, and low-lying zones to prevent flooding, flash floods, and landslides.
Blocked waterways should be cleared immediately, and residents in high-risk areas, particularly those affected by recent heavy downpours, should be evacuated to safety.

Local authorities must also assign personnel to monitor submerged roads, low-water crossings, and landslide-prone areas to ensure public safety.
Travel across unsafe routes is strictly prohibited to avoid preventable casualties.
Provinces have been directed to review safety measures for critical infrastructure, including ongoing construction sites and full-capacity reservoirs.
Emergency teams must be stationed to operate reservoirs and respond to any incidents.
Efforts to prevent waterlogging in urban areas, industrial zones, and agricultural land are being stepped up.
Rescue teams and equipment must remain on standby to assist when needed.
The Department of Rescue and Relief under the General Staff has also called on military units to remain on high alert and enforce flood response protocols.
The Air Defense-Air Force Service and Corps 18 have been instructed to review aerial rescue plans and ensure aircraft are ready for deployment if ordered by the Ministry of National Defense.
