Vietnam posts record $900bn trade, ranks among world’s top 25 economies by trade value

Vietnam’s total import–export turnover surpassed US$900 billion for the first time in 2025, reaching the milestone on Thursday, with full-year projections of around $920 billion, the Department of Vietnam Customs under the Ministry of Finance said at a ceremony marking the landmark in Hanoi the same day.
