150 international companies to attend Vietnam Travel Day 2026

The Vietnam Tourism Association, the Gia Lai provincial People's Committee, and FLC Group on Saturday jointly announced a series of events for the second Vietnam Travel Day 2026, aimed at expanding domestic and international tourism cooperation and promoting Gia Lai as a tourism destination.

According to the organizers, the event, themed "Where the Great Highlands meets the Blue Sea," will be held from August 13 to 17 and is expected to attract 550 tourism businesses.

Among them will be 150 international travel companies from South Korea, Japan, China, India, Russia, and Southeast Asian countries, among other markets.

Vietnam Travel Day 2026 will feature a range of activities, including familiarization trips to Gia Lai's signature tourist attractions and business matching sessions between domestic and international tourism enterprises.

The event will also feature an international travel forum on attracting more international visitors to Vietnam, alongside a range of tourism promotion and marketing activities.

Cao Thi Ngoc Lan, standing vice chairwoman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said the event honors the role of the travel business while aiming to establish Vietnam Travel Day as a prestigious annual event with regional stature.

The event is expected to strengthen cooperation among travel businesses, enhance the competitiveness of Vietnam's tourism industry, and further promote the country's tourism brand internationally.

Ricky Ho, general manager of FLC Quy Nhon, which will host the event's key activities, said the company has fully prepared its facilities, services, workforce, and organizational arrangements to provide an effective networking platform for participating businesses.

The inaugural Vietnam Travel Day was held in Quang Ninh Province in November 2025, bringing together about 520 domestic and international tourism businesses.
