Car in Vietnam racks up nearly 100 traffic violations, owner faces $18,200 in fines

In an incredible but true case, a Hanoi-plated car was found to have committed 96 traffic violations, mostly for speeding, in just six months in Phu Tho Province, northern Vietnam, before traffic police identified three more violations, bringing total fines to about US$18,200, local police reported.
