The Apple Education Hub, operated in partnership with Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), is set to begin offering courses this autumn.
Apple said the hub will provide both online and hands-on learning, with programs designed to equip supplier employees with in-demand skills in areas such as smart manufacturing, robotics, and automation.
“At Apple, we bring a spirit of innovation to everything we do to support the people across our global supply chain,” said Sarah Chandler, Apple’s vice president of supply chain innovation and environment.
She said the expanded training programs in Vietnam would give thousands of workers opportunities to develop critical skills and pursue career growth.
Beyond technical training, the hub will also offer professional development courses, including leadership soft skills and production-line supervisor training, aimed at helping employees advance in their current roles or explore new career paths.
Courses to reach over 30 supplier facilities
Apple and its partners currently provide nearly 20 education programs for supplier employees in Vietnam.
A new robotics program offers training in robot operation, programming, and maintenance, while also helping develop future instructors. The program has been introduced at five factories and is planned for further expansion.
The Apple Education Hub’s broader training programs will also be rolled out at more than 30 supplier facilities across Vietnam, covering areas including Swift programming, automation technologies, and smart manufacturing.
