From late May, the lotus flowers begin to bloom, creating a poetic and romantic scene that provides an ideal setting for visitors to take pictures in flowing dresses.
Traveling with her best friend from Hai Phong to Ninh Binh, Nhu Ngoc said Mua Cave lotus pond was the first place that came to her mind when she planned the trip.
“The lotus pond is very spacious and beautiful, offering many spots for people to freely take photos,” Ngoc said.
“In my opinion, visitors should choose makeup tones in red, pink, or neutral colors to suit the cool green space of the lotus pond.
“For outfits, they can choose traditional ao dai or halter tops to create graceful photos.
“Along the road outside the lotus pond, there are many rental shops offering costumes at prices from VND120,000 [US$4.61] to VND400,000 [$15.36].”

“Early morning is the perfect time to enjoy the gentle fragrance and delicately blooming lotus flowers here,” she said.
“In summer, the sun rises early, so people should take photos early to capture natural light that is not too harsh.
“Taking pictures while enjoying the calm morning atmosphere will make the trip relaxing instead of crowded and hectic."
