-- Starting Monday, a strengthening western low-pressure heat system is forecast to bring a peak heatwave to northern and central Vietnam, with temperatures expected to exceed 40 degrees Celsius in some areas.

-- Da Nang authorities have approved a more than VND1.378-trillion (US$52.35 million) project to overhaul the Hoa Xuan Bridge interchange area between 2026 and 2029, including a new bridge, underpasses, and traffic reconfiguration measures aimed at easing chronic congestion at one of the city’s busiest bottlenecks.
