-- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam voiced profound concern over the escalating tensions in the Middle East, urging all relevant parties to exercise maximum restraint and respect the sovereignty of nations, spokesperson for the ministry Pham Thu Hang said on Saturday.

-- Due to the tensions in Iran and Israel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Vietnamese citizens not to travel to the two nations at this time.

-- Northern Vietnam is forecast to see scattered showers, with early morning fog and sunshine by late morning and afternoon on Sunday.
