-- Nigerian YouTuber Cee Jay and American actor and host Charlie Winston joined Vietnamese artists in singing ‘The Ballad of Ho Chi Minh’ during the ‘A Gift of May for Uncle Ho’ concert in Hanoi on Wednesday night, in celebration of the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025).

-- The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has issued a dispatch urging relevant units, districts, and Thu Duc City to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital this year in order to meet 100 percent of the target set by the prime minister.

-- A large-sized bullet was discovered in the Nhan Tower special national relic site in Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province, located in south-central Vietnam, on Wednesday.

-- The National Assembly (NA) is scheduled to pass a resolution on certain special mechanisms and policies aimed at promoting private sector development at 11:00 am on Saturday, heard the sitting of the NA’s Standing Committee on Wednesday.

-- Many Vietnamese enterprises are actively pursuing green transformation, underscoring their commitment to environmental and social responsibility, as climate change and extreme weather have emerged as the most pressing challenges – surpassing even fears of an economic downturn, heard a seminar held in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday.

-- The 2025 Vietnam International Electronics and Smart Appliances Expo (IEAE) will take place from May 29 to 31 in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together more than 350 enterprises from Vietnam and China, the Vietnam News Agency reported.

-- Nha Trang City in south-central Vietnam has been ranked 11th among the world's top 15 emerging summer destinations, according to a report recently released by the Mastercard Economics Institute, headquartered in the United States.
