-- The eye of storm Kalmaegi, the 13th storm to hit the East Vietnam Sea this year, was located about 390 km east-southeast of Gia Lai Province at 5:00 am on Thursday, with the strongest wind at level 14 (150 - 166 kph) and gusts reaching level 17, according to the national weather center.
-- Police in Bach Mai Ward, Hanoi said on Wednesday that they were verifying public reports that a local photo booth had allegedly leaked sensitive images of customers while they were changing clothes.
-- Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Duoc on Wednesday evening instructed departments, wards and communes, and relevant agencies to take comprehensive measures to promptly respond to storm Kalmaegi.
-- Tidal water began to rise at the Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Thi Thap intersection in Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City at around 3:00 pm on Wednesday, causing severe localized flooding within 15-20 minutes.
