-- A cement deep-mixing machine at the Xuyen Tam Canal dredging, environmental improvement and infrastructure development project suddenly toppled onto Bui Huu Nghia Street in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday. No casualties or damage to surrounding property were reported.
-- The Da Nang Longevity Summit & Exhibition 2026 will take place in Da Nang City, central Vietnam, on November 13 and 14, drawing more than 120 domestic and international delegates.
-- A truck was swept away by floodwaters while attempting to cross a spillway amid heavy rain in Da Lat, Lam Dong Province, Vietnam’s Central Highlands, but all three people aboard escaped safely.

-- Ho Chi Minh City authorities are seeking public feedback on a draft resolution governing the issuance of municipal and project bonds through Vietnam’s International Financial Center to raise funds for key projects.
-- Foreign investors net sold 73.4 million HDB shares of lender HDBank worth VND2.037 trillion (US$77.7 million), the largest net selling of the stock since it was listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange in early 2018.
-- Vietnam’s Leadvisors Capital Group has announced a plan to subscribe for all 130 million shares in a private placement by One Capital Hospitality, which owns Star City and Sunrise Nha Trang hotels and the Trang Tien Ice Cream and Givral bakery brands.
-- Vietnam International Bank (VIB) has secured a $285 million syndicated loan from nine Asian financial institutions as part of its plan to raise $1 billion in medium- and long-term funding from international markets in 2026.
