-- Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man held talks with Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin in Hanoi on Sunday, following an official welcome ceremony.

Storm Bualoi

-- Storm Bualoi made landfall in Ha Tinh Province, north-central Vietnam at 1:00 am on Monday and remained over the Ha Tinh–Nghe An area as of 6:00 am, bringing winds of 75–100 kph, toppling houses and power poles, and causing widespread power outages.

-- Da Nang airport in central Vietnam saw hours-long delays on Sunday afternoon and evening as storm Bualoi disrupted multiple flight departures, leaving thousands of passengers waiting.
