Over $68.4mn proposed for upgrade of runway, other infrastructure at Da Nang Airport
Vietnam News 09:02 28/06/2026The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Construction seeking approval for a project worth more than VND1.8 trillion (US$68.4 million) to upgrade a runway, along with taxiways and supporting landing infrastructure, at Da Nang International Airport in order to prevent the risk of airport disruption.
Da Nang begins pre-feasibility study for $379mn airport tunnel project
Vietnam News 11:15 29/08/2025Da Nang City has officially launched a pre-feasibility study for a proposed tunnel beneath Da Nang International Airport, marking the first such infrastructure initiative of its kind in Vietnam. The project carries an estimated investment of VND10 trillion (US$379.5 million).
