The finale, scheduled for 8:00 pm July 12, concludes a six-night international competition that began on May 31.
A surge in domestic and international tourism has led to full occupancy at hotels across the central coastal city of Da Nang and surrounding areas.
"Most rooms were reserved in advance, mainly by travel agencies and out-of-town guests," said Luong Thi My An, a hotel employee on Pham Van Dong Street.
Smaller hotels in downtown areas, including Vo Van Kiet and Hoang Sa Streets, also reported no vacancies by early Saturday.
According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, local hotels served approximately 1.17 million visitors between May 31 and June 30, up 10.3 percent from the same period last year.
The first five nights of the fireworks competition attracted nearly 400,000 visitors, matching attendance for the entire 2024 festival.
Revenue from lodging, food services and tourism in June was estimated at VND3.87 trillion (US$147.8 million), a 22-percent increase year-on-year.
Occupancy at four- and five-star hotels with river or beachfront views approached 100 percent, while mid-range rooms priced between VND600,000 and VND1.2 million ($23–46) were in especially high demand.

Tickets for the final night sold out shortly after going on sale in April.
Organizers said 10,000 seats were issued for the grandstands along the Han River.
Remaining tickets are being resold through secondary channels, often at higher prices.
Listings for resale have appeared on social media and ticketing platforms in recent days.
Many are invitations or guest passes being offered for sale, with prices ranging greatly.
Hotels, private homes and restaurants near the viewing area are also selling access to rooftop or outdoor seating.
Vietnam and China were selected for the final based on their performances in the elimination rounds.
The Vietnamese team, Z121 Vina Pyrotech, is participating in the event for the first time.
The final night will also feature live performances by Vietnamese singers and dance groups.
