Following directions from Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security, the city’s police coordinated with relevant units and ward-level police forces to track down fugitives wanted at the request of Chinese authorities.

On August 13, they arrested four Chinese nationals, including Huang Yanlin, 53; Wang Xuefeng, 34; Zhang HuiJuan, 53; and Zhang Jianqing, 51.

A few days earlier, another Chinese national, Wang Hongjian, 40, who was also wanted by Chinese authorities, was arrested.

During their investigation, police determined that Wang had entered Vietnam and was staying at a hotel in Ngu Hanh Son Ward.

By cross-checking his personal information and other relevant data, they confirmed that he was the person Chinese authorities had requested them to identify and arrest.

At the police station, Wang admitted that he was wanted by the police in Zhejiang Province, China.

After completing the required procedures, Da Nang police, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security’s Department of External Relations, handed the fugitives over to Chinese authorities at the Huu Nghi International Border Gate in Lang Son Province, northern Vietnam.
