Da Nang restaurant fined over $1,200 for noise, environmental violations

The Da Nang People’s Committee said Safari International Co.,Ltd, which operates a restaurant in An Hai Ward, produced noise five to under 10 decibels above the technical limit and failed to register its environmental compliance as required by law.

In a separate case, Vinh Duc General Hospital was fined VND140 million ($5,313) for multiple environmental and food safety violations, including improper storage of hazardous waste, excessive wastewater discharge, and poor kitchen hygiene practices.

Da Nang authorities have increased enforcement of environmental regulations this year.

Earlier fines include VND261 million ($9,905) for Lam Thuy Mai Trading Service and Travel Co.,Ltd, operator of Prague Hotel; VND209 million ($7,932) for TMS Hotel Co.,Ltd; VND366 million ($13,890) for Son Tra JSC; and VND564 million ($21,404) for Chic-Land JSC.
