Air pollution exceeds daily limits 1 in 3 days, ranks No. 3 death risk in Vietnam

Data from Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environment show PM2.5 levels exceed the 24-hour limit on about one-third of days each year, while the 2023 Global Burden of Disease study ranked air pollution as the country’s No. 3 leading risk factor for death.
