Details on fireworks displays across Vietnam to ring in New Year

In Hanoi, fireworks will be launched for 15 minutes from 11:45 pm, at five locations with six launch sites, according to city plans.

In Hoan Kiem Ward, fireworks will be set off in front of the Ha Noi Moi newspaper headquarters and the Hanoi Post Office. 

In Hai Ba Trung Ward, displays will take place at Coconut Island in Thong Nhat Park. 

Additional launch sites are planned at the former Formula One racetrack area in Tu Liem Ward, Lac Long Quan Flower Garden in Tay Ho Ward, and Van Quan Lake in Ha Dong Ward.

Ho Chi Minh City will hold fireworks displays from midnight to 12:15 am on January 1 at four locations, including three high-altitude sites and one low-altitude site. 

High-altitude fireworks will be launched near the Saigon River tunnel entrance in An Khanh Ward, in the new urban center in Binh Duong Ward, and at Tam Thang Square in Vung Tau Ward. 

A low-altitude display is planned at Dam Sen Cultural Park in Binh Thoi Ward.

In Hai Phong, fireworks will be launched at midnight at the City Theater on Tran Hung Dao Street in Hong Bang Ward and at the Central Cultural Square of the Dong Xu region on Thanh Nien Street in Tan Hung Ward.

Lam Dong Province will hold fireworks displays starting at midnight at three locations: the Theater and Cultural Arts Exhibition Center on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in Phan Thiet Ward, Lam Vien Square in Da Lat Ward, and Gia Nghia Ward.

In Khanh Hoa Province, fireworks will be launched from midnight to 12:15 am at April 2 Square on Tran Phu Street in Nha Trang Ward and on Hon Tre Island.

Dong Nai Province plans a fireworks display from midnight to 12:15 am on January 1 at Hoa An Bridge on Tran Bien Street.

In Lang Son Province, fireworks are scheduled from midnight to 12:15 am at Hung Vuong Stage in Luong Van Tri Ward. 

Ninh Binh Province will hold a display during the same time period on Le Thai To Street, near the Tam Quan Gate and Ky Lan Lake, in Hoa Lu Ward.

Quang Ngai Province plans a fireworks display at 8:10 pm on January 1 in the center of Mang Den Commune. 

In Quang Ninh Province, fireworks will be launched at October 30 Square in Ha Long Ward.

Tay Ninh Province will hold both high- and low-altitude fireworks displays lasting 10 to 15 minutes from midnight to 12:15 am on January 1 at the Eco Retreat urban area in Ben Luc Commune.

In Thai Nguyen Province, fireworks will be launched at the New Year's Eve moment at Vo Nguyen Giap Square in Phan Dinh Phung Ward. 

Thanh Hoa Province plans a display from midnight to 12:15 am at Lam Son Square in Hac Thanh Ward.

In Kien Giang Province, high-altitude fireworks are scheduled to take place after 10:00 pm in both the northern and southern areas of the Phu Quoc special zone.
