Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, vice-chairwoman of the Da Nang administration, said the festival has become a signature summer tourism product, offering residents and visitors new experiences while promoting the city’s image as a safe, friendly, and innovative destination.
This year's festival is being held at East Sea Park and Da Nang's tourist beaches, featuring a wide range of activities from morning until late evening.
The event features a series of themed experience zones.
The countryside food market, open daily from 5:00 pm to 10:30 pm, showcases Quang-style cuisine while recreating the atmosphere of traditional villages, craft communities, and local life.
The Enjoy Da Nang beach route, running from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm each day, features illuminated art installations using basket boats, fishing nets, bamboo, and lanterns.
One of the festival's signature attractions is the Light Kite Night, during which around 500 illuminated kites will light up the coastal sky.

The program also includes a beach gala combining artistic light displays, live music, and local cuisine to create a vibrant night-time entertainment space for visitors.
The festival follows a busy calendar of events in the coastal city since early this year, including the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, food tours, and beach sports competitions.
These activities have drawn millions of visitors, creating a lively atmosphere across the city.
In the first half of 2026, Da Nang welcomed nearly 9.8 million visitors, up 22.5 percent year on year.
International arrivals rose more than 28 percent versus last year to reach 5.2 million, while domestic tourists totaled 4.6 million, up over 16 percent.
Revenue from accommodation and dining services was estimated at VND32.4 trillion (US$1.2 billion), up more than 21 percent compared to the same period in 2025.
