The VND7.3-trillion (US$277 million) project will span 3.9 km across the Red River, linking Ky Vu Street in Thuong Cat Ward to National Highway 23B in Thien Loc Commune, with an additional 1.3 km of approach roads.

It will carry eight lanes and is scheduled for completion in 2027, funded by the city’s budget.

Officials expect the bridge will reduce congestion, support new urban zones, facilitate the completion of Ring Road 3.5, and improve connectivity between northwestern areas and central Hanoi.
