In response, EVNHCMC has instructed its subsidiaries to mobilize resources, intensify inspections, and promptly address any incidents that may occur.
The corporation has also directed these units to implement short- and medium-term measures to ensure stable power supply and improve service quality, with priority given to critical customers such as hospitals, data centers, industrial parks, and schools.
Besides, EVNHCMC has urged residents and businesses to continue using electricity efficiently and safely in order to reduce household expenses and help maintain the city’s energy security.
Authorities also warned that the arrival of early-season rains, often accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds, could increase risks to the power grid, including fallen trees and flying metal sheets that may damage infrastructure.
Residents have been advised to remain cautious during severe weather conditions.
