Across the city, many wards and communes have organized events and initiatives to mark the occasion.
Among these, a notable celebration took place in Thai My Commune, formerly part of Cu Chi District, where the inauguration of a newly established ‘Flag Road’ along Phan Van Khai Street added to the festive spirit.
The route, now lined with national flags, serves not only as a visual tribute to the anniversary but also as a commemorative project recognizing the success of the first Party Congress of Thai My Commune for the 2025-30 term.
In preparation for the National Day celebration, Binh My Commune had previously launched its own Flag Road along Trung An Street.
Nguyen Anh Tuan, chairman of the Binh My People's Committee, emphasized the significance of the project, saying the flag-lined street is not only meant to beautify both urban and rural landscapes, but also to symbolize national pride, unity, and civic responsibility.
