According to market research firm 6W Research, the audio equipment market in Vietnam will grow 14.71 percent in 2025, peak at 16.5 percent in 2027, and maintain a stable rate of 14.81 percent in 2029.

In particular, smart speakers are experiencing significant growth, reaching 40.4 percent in 2024 and projected to surge 161.2 percent by 2033.

The annual growth rate is expected to be 16.61 percent between 2025 and 2033.

Common brands in Vietnam such as Sony, LG, and JBL continue to launch new products.

Four international audio equipment brands Fender Audio, Tivoli, Linklike, and Tribit have forayed into the market.

Among them, Fender is a U.S. brand with over eight decades of history, introducing Fender Audio to the Vietnamese market with the Elie speaker line, capable of connecting up to 100 speakers simultaneously, and the MIX wireless earbuds with up to 100 hours of battery life.

Ho Hoang Nguyen Vu, director of product distribution company PHTD, assessed that Vietnamese consumers increasingly favor high-quality audio products that match modern lifestyles.

According to 6W Research, the audio equipment market in Vietnam is witnessing strong growth driven by rising demand for audio experiences across various fields.

Consumers are increasingly investing in high-quality audio equipment, from home entertainment systems to professional audio setups.

Do Nhu Quynh, director of Nam Binh Company, an organizer of audio exhibition events, told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that audio devices in the hi-fi and hi-end segments continue to expand, as users tend to invest in 'quality of enjoyment' rather than just functionality.

However, Quynh also noted that competition is expected to intensify significantly, as many Chinese brands are entering the market with affordable yet quality products.
