Four international audio equipment brands Fender Audio, Tivoli, Linklike, and Tribit have forayed into the market.
Among them, Fender is a U.S. brand with over eight decades of history, introducing Fender Audio to the Vietnamese market with the Elie speaker line, capable of connecting up to 100 speakers simultaneously, and the MIX wireless earbuds with up to 100 hours of battery life.
Ho Hoang Nguyen Vu, director of product distribution company PHTD, assessed that Vietnamese consumers increasingly favor high-quality audio products that match modern lifestyles.

Do Nhu Quynh, director of Nam Binh Company, an organizer of audio exhibition events, told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that audio devices in the hi-fi and hi-end segments continue to expand, as users tend to invest in 'quality of enjoyment' rather than just functionality.
However, Quynh also noted that competition is expected to intensify significantly, as many Chinese brands are entering the market with affordable yet quality products.
